I think IV should make it mandatory for $25/monthly charge for all the folks.
At least we can get rid of the dual-nature of 'helping you, only a little bit' sort of tendency.
However, there should total transparency once people pay. I see some guys are frustrated for lack of information despite them being donors.

CP ordered - 08/08
(one year and one day since we applied for AOS)
I got an email today from USCIS stating this
Current Status: Card production ordered.
I did not receive any other approval notice. I hope this means that our 485 is approved and the cards have been ordered ?

Please don't get me started now. Almost everyone on this forum lurks because of self interest. If one has to do public service , I would join a organization like CRY etc.
Regarding yourself, you lurk on this forum to show you are better than others now that you have your "citizenship". I doubt you have contributed even a single cent to the cause or written any letter or contacted any lawmaker. And I don't blame you because you have no reason to do that.

Oh really!! How did you come to that conclusion? Could you be kind enough to show me any of my post that remotely suggests that? BTW, I joined this forum 18 months ago and I became US citizen last week.

I have a couple of questions regarding my AC21 portability, please post your thoughts on this
1) My 140 is approved and 485 is pending more than 180 days and I am planning to change my job. If my old employer does not cancel the approved 140, do I need to inform USCIS about the change of job??
2) Can I change multiple jobs??
3) Has anyone done that??
Please comment on this.

We'll do these things for common/generic issues like visa recapture,not counting dependents visas,removing per country quota.

What address did you use to send the I-485 using FedEx or UPS?
I sent it to the PO Box address:
USCIS Nebraska Service Center
P.O. Box 87485
Lincoln, NE 68501-7485
I did not know that FedEx/UPS could deliver to PO boxes and that you would have a person receiving and signing for it???

Let's start our campaign for our own bill immediately. There is no motive to wait. We should pay lobbysts and ask them to approach lawmakers using the argument that legal immigrants need a relief without waiting for amnesty bills for illegal aliens.
The same argument applies, why would someone like Dianne Feinstein or other lawmakers who supported CIR because of industries such as agriculture, turn around and support a bill for legal immigrants when they traditionally have been opposed to bills that favor skilled workers ? The reality is that there will be no new bill until after November. I'm being pessimistic with good reason, look at the example that this Senator (http://www.senate.gov/~levin/newsroom/release.cfm?id=256689) gave regarding a measure that made it to the Senate and collapsed, but they did have success in the house where it passed as they would have wanted it to. What happened in this same case is what has happened to CIR, it got past the Senate but is now facing problems in the house. It goes to show that lobbying even with massive resources does not guarantee immediate success neither is the result what one set out to get, but indeed one is better off lobbying than not lobbying at all :
18 families worth a total of $185.5 billion quietly financed and coordinated a 10-year effort to repeal the estate tax. The report (http://www.citizen.org/documents/EstateTaxFinal.pdf) tells how these families spent over $200 million dollars contributing to political campaigns, financing outside lobby groups and trade associations, and creating a massive anti-estate tax coalition that served as the main coordinator of the repeal campaign.

We all morons and still wont learn, we will still start predicting for next visa bulletin hoping that a reincarnation of god will come and deliver us visa numbers.
Unless we all make a collective effort no one is going to listen to us. I know the fate of my post, we all will get busy to get our post noted or express our opinion which will definitely solve our problem or proving our point the that "i am right you are wrong" or get busy with "my ideas are better than yours" or "who wins the quote slamming contest".

Yeah, I know my life sucks. I have a priority date of Jan 2003. Got filed under EB3 even though did MS here... I begged and pleaded that they atleast send it on Jan 28th. For god's sake, I was qualified all the way since June 1st. I gave all the documents necessary by June 6th itself. Well, but they had to file on 29th.
